Centre of knowledge
Our ambition is to become a centre of knowledge about maritime progress, both in terms of history and contemporary developments. This means gathering knowledge through studies and research, and passing that knowledge on to a variety of target groups. We aim to engage visitors of all ages with an experience that is both educational and fun.
17,500 pupils and students every year
We develop educational programmes from junior school to academic level, working for and with the educational sector. We also provide programmes for special target groups and families who visit the museum under their own steam.
